The following hydraulic work maps and modified flood insurance rate maps illustrate the special flood hazard area modifications performed along 2.6 miles of the Truckee River, generally from Lockwood to about 2000 feet east of the Mustang Road Bridge. The special flood hazard areas modified included the Zone AE, Zone X Shaded, and Regulatory Floodway, the first update since the late 1970’s.  See also Remote Sensing
